Humming Birds in Portland Oregon
The year 2020 was a hopeful and disastrous. We had two nests in the front yard and back patio which had lovely mothers who allowed us intimate views of nest building and hidden little ones feeding until they became food for our neighboring black birds or blue jays....or other predators.
Perhaps they were the soothsayers to our lost 2020.
